Life Zesters February Reveal

Hello creative friends!! Summer School holidays are over and it's been a great break with lots of trips to the beach and the pools. Just add water in an Aussie Summer and everything is delightful! So this is how this project life layout came about with one of our many trips to our local beach. Here is February's Challenge for Life Zesters using wood. The requirement this month is to create with a wood theme. I had so much fun gathering wooden pattern papers and embellishments. I didn't realise I had so many options. I hope you will join us in our challenge this month. Please go check out Life Zesters blog here and the wonderful prizes  http://lifeszesters.blogspot.com.au/ I can't wait to see everyone's entries. I love this months challenge for February, I used Kaisercraft Blue Bay collection because of all the different wood pattern papers and I thought the white and teal woods looked lovely with beach photographs. I used a combination of the PL cards and the 6x6 paper pad. I used Becky Higgins E and F pocket page protectors.

I love mixing my embellishments and this was a great collection of some of my favorite things. American crafts DIY Shop bow, cork hearts from DIY Shop, Feather chipboard from Scrapmatts, wooden remember frame from Freckled Fawn, other wood veneers from Studio Calico, enamel dew drop stickers from Freckled Fawn and flowers and leaves from Maggie Holmes Open Book collection.

Here is the stamp counting blessings sediment by Heidi Swapp and the summer sediment stamps by Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday.

Freckled Fawn wooden arrow, hash tag Studio Calico, wooden veneer word Heidi Swapp, cloud veneers Freckled Fawn and metal gold glitter arrows from Freckled Fawn.

A new School year will begin tomorrow here in Perth. All my children are starting new Schools and they are feeling excited and apprehensive at the same time. I want to wish you all good luck and hope your day is great. Thanks for sharing with me my love for creating.

Life Zesters Reveal - January

I used the beautiful paper range from Webster's Pages called All that glitters by Brandin O'Neill and large glittered star from project life Glitter value kit by Heidi Swapp.

Hello 2015!! Happy New Year everyone!! I am excited to start off my new year on a new design team "Life Zesters" http://lifeszesters.blogspot.com.au/2015/01/january-2015-reveal.html and it's all about project life. I have been collecting project life kits and admiring other project lifers on the many blogs I follow and have been planning to make a start. It is the perfect solution for me to catch up on all the photos I have been waiting to make into albums for my children to enjoy. I really love the idea of pocket scrapping to tell our stories along with my traditional 12x12 layouts. As for my style I like to include stitching, layering, bling and stamps. So here I am along with other wonderful talented ladies to share with you our love of project life. I hope to see your pages as you enter the monthly challenges. Thanks for stopping by and I can't wait to see what you create.
