My Favourite

Hello, how are you?
I went through a time a few years ago where I used new stencils to create backgrounds. I was so please with this layout. I love Cherry blossoms and I had to have this stencil from The Crafters Workshop. It turned out beautifully. I used watercolours to add the pink, green flowers and grey birds.

I would suggest if you have some large stencils bring them out and create your own backgrounds. I used texture paste because I wanted dimension.

Here are close ups of the stencil and layers behind the photo. The three flower embellishments were from a broken headband that suited this layout perfectly.

I love taking candid shots and this one worked perfectly on a lazy afternoon.
Thank you for stopping by.

Strawberry Fields

Hi there, I still love this range by Webster's pages...Strawberry fields. I am still hoarding a few ranges around this time. This was in my drafts and wanted to share it.
We took a trip to the strawberry fields and picked our own.
My girls are obsessed with eating strawberries!

Close up of the fussy cutting flowers and strawberries.

I ripped the page and added a doily and some more fussy cut flower and leaves.

Have a lovely creative day and thanks for stopping by.

Oh Snap!!!

Summer Brights....this is another layout I had in drafts a few years ago haha! This was when I was creating a lot of bright summer pages. It's funny how we change over the years.
It was so much fun to create the background with texture paste, stamps and ink.
Thanks for stopping by and have a create day.

Poolside

Hi there, I'm here to share more sketch inspiration with our next challenge for Let's get Sketchy. The weather is warming up over here in Perth and I found this photo from last Summer. No doubt my children will be asking to go back to the pool and the beach to cool down soon!!

I decided to cut up a sheet of patterned dots paper from the paper range boys rule by Crate paper. I added the strips stacked together with a acetate film strip behind the photo. I adore this range and I'm so surprised I have so much left to create with. I love it and I enjoy going into my stash and creating as I have tons of photos to catch with. Ones of my boys when they were little.

These chalkboard Thickers for the title are called Graphite.

Rainbow Splendour cute wood veneer tiny stars.

Thanks for stopping by, please check out the sketch Here.
We look forward to seeing what you create.

together

Good Morning, I love a good sketch challenge and I enjoyed this one for Let's Get Sketchy.
I decided to use mixed media and I like how the photo was up the top of the layout.

I used the Ocean Melody from Websters pages, I have been hanging onto it because it's so pretty.

So please go check out the challenge and all the DT inspiration on the blog here
We can't wait to see your layouts!
Have a great day.
