Fuse tool

Morning everyone, Michelle here with my latest project life layouts using the wonderfully clever ''We R Memory keepers Photo Sleeve Fuse tool'' and you will find it in the Scrapping Clearly store here

You have probably heard about the fuse tool or seen a few demonstrations online. It changes your ability to customise your sleeves to almost any layout you would like and it's fun to think of different ways to use it. I am still new to project life and love to collect all the pretty cards so ONE day I will have my albums full of beautiful memories.

How grateful I am to have this tool to make my album unique and totally how I want my layouts to be.

I used a 12 x 12 sleeve and the Teresa Collins Studio Gold Albums made easy cards which can be purchased here. There is a picture of the cards at the end of this post. I first arranged my photos for both sides along with the Studio Gold cards because when it's fused together you need both sides completed at the same time.

This was my first time doing a whole layout this way so it took a while to figure the placement but I am so happy with the result. It was worth the planning and it will only get quicker once I use the fuse tool more. The shapes of my cards were odd so I needed to stick them with the same shape together to do both sides and it was manageable that way.

This is a close up of the front with the added glitter and foil gold stickers and chipboard embellishments. I love the gold so much. The script word was cut out of gold foil using the Heidi Swapp ''Lovely'' Wanderlust metal dies. Have a look here for some more Heidi Swapp script word dies.

This is on the other side using the same Teresa Collins Studio Gold. That pretty glittery gold strip on the follow your heart card is from Heidi Swapp's Marquee love gold glitter tape.

Here is a close up of the clear sequins pocket.

Have a beautiful creative day.

With all my Heart - August Moodboard

Good morning, Michelle here to share my inspiration today from this month's gorgeous mood board using the striking colours, pretty patterns and script verse.

What I love about challenges is that it helps me try something new and can push me out of my comfort zone. This layout helped me further with learning to use Ranger Dylusions mists in another way. I used a floral stencil from Tim Holtz collection with texture paste and added inks to create the drips on the background.

The whole process took some time and I thought at one point I may have to start over but I kept going and was happy with the results. The script title is stamped onto the background using Heidi Swapp's clear stamp with stazon ink.

I have added layers under my photo using frames from Heidi Swapp and a few flowers I had.

Please join us this month using this mood board as your inspiration. We would love to see what you create and there are great prizes up for grabs.

Thank you for supporting Scrapping Clearly.

Enjoy your day.

Scrapping Clearly August Sketch

Good Morning, Michelle here with a new month and new challenges!!  I am excited to share the August Sketch and I loved the circle design. Here are some beautiful products that I was able to create with.

Maggie Holmes Flea Market 12 inch vellum is so beautiful and can be sewn through quite easily. I have never used a whole sheet of vellum as a background and I was happy with the result.

Close up of the machine stitching around the doily and through the chipboard shapes.
I am loving the gold trend at the moment and if you are after Gold Albums take a look at the Scrapping Clearly store as they have some very pretty gold ones.

These tags were cut from Teresa Collins Studio Gold  journal cards.

Can't wait to see your interpretation of the August sketch. Have a lovely day creating!

Pocket Swap

Hello there, how good is the idea of pocket letters!! What a fun way to share with others stash that you love to create with and learn about other creative people from reading letters from each other. Love happy mail!! I am excited to be involved in Scrapping Clearly Pocket Swap Aussie group. Here is my take on my very first pocket swap using Heidi Swapp's ranges.

The tag wouldn't fit in the pocket so I attached it with a bit of tape on the outside. Washi tape, string and a machine sewn circle banner was wrapped around a tag.

This photo frame has a clear removable envelope filled with sequins.

A metal charm is attached to the side and my letter is in the small kraft envelope in the top middle pocket, So there are a few ideas that I included in August share.

I can't wait to send mine out and continue to put together more for the following months. I look forward to see what others have created. Let the happy mail begin!!

If you need to purchase more photo sleeves click here and it will take you to Scrapping Clearly's store.

Cheers Michelle xx

Has my heart

Hello, Michelle here to share this pretty moodboard in July for Scrapping clearly. We love seeing all the entries for our challenges and there is still time if you are thinking about creating.

I love the combination of mint, teal, grey and silver. Green isn't something I use a lot of on my layouts but I liked the way the mint turned out softer with the added silver. I used Tim Holtz brick stencil with light texture paste, metallic mint gelato, earl grey gelato and Heidi Swapp colour shine Mint and teal as the background.

Prima Inc fabric flower and resin heart. Heidi Swapp glitter gem and silver glitter words.
Kaisercraft leaf flourish die using silver and glitter papers. Matte silver and shiny sequins for bling.
Heidi Swapp September Skies project life card with the noughts and crosses.

Can't wait to see what you create with this moodboard
