Wander

Hello how are you?
School holidays are wrapping up quickly now and it's been nice to stay home and slow down. I have been creating in my pjs which is perfect for these winter days.

Let's get sketchy has a fabulous sketch that I decided to flip sideways, mainly to include these awesome clipboard bamboo and towers from The Dusty Attic. I have been hoarding these as I have plans to scrapbook my travels to South Korea. Which was over 18 years ago now!!
In this photo we were staying at a traditional 100 year old home in the country. The bamboo plantation and Persimmon trees were beautiful at the back of the house. I loved learning about the culture.
I'm planning to continue to work on my photos from Korea now that I have begun with this one.
The gorgeous paper range is called Hanami Garden by Kaisercraft.

We can't wait to see your layouts using the Second sketch. Don't forget there are two sketches for July, one on the first and then on the 15th. Thanks for joining in with Let's Get Sketchy. Use this link to see all the other inspiring DT layouts here
Happy creating!

Bring on the Sunshine

Hello, How are you?
It's well into the windy Winter weather here! I know in other parts of the world it's Summer time right now. These photos were taken on a classic hot day last Summer and my girls decided to make their own water fun. No need for a pool when you can fill a bucket with cold water!
I decided to create a double layout for Let's Get Sketchy July 1st challenge. It gave me a chance to document the whole series of photos. Such a fun afternoon.

My inspiration I took from the mood board was the blue and grey colours. The pop of yellow came from the bucket in the photos.

We would love to see what you will create using the latest sketch and mood board. Come join us at Let's get Sketchy for a change to win a prize! We can't wait to see your layouts.
Have a great creative week.

Sweet

Good Morning, It's been a very busy few weeks but I'm so happy I have been creating. I really loved this sketch with all the hexagons. I decided to use a stencil and texture paste to add the hexagons with the paper one.

For the middle strip I added washi tape and some rub ons I had stashed away. I love it when I use some of my older supplies.

You & I

Good Morning, It's Winter here in Australia but Perth has beautiful sunny days at the moment. It really doesn't feel like Winter yet so I'm enjoying it while it lasts.
I like the different layers with this challenge and enjoyed adding chipboard and flowers.

I added interest to the background with a diamond stencil and texture paste.

Go check out Let's Get Sketchy this month for great sketches and a fantastic prize!

Have a lovely day

Right now

Good Morning how are you?

Here is my take on the mid month challenge at Let's Get Sketchy . I like to scrap large photos but for this one I decided to try sewing my title. I was happy with the result.

I look forward to see your take on the sketch.
Have a great day!

Wild Blue Yonder

Hi there, it's a Saturday afternoon and I'm home enjoying a lazy day. Believe me it doesn't happen a lot but it's nice to be doing things that I love. So I have been creating more in the hope to find my mojo. It helps to have lots of encouragement from a friend.
Here is my take on this month's challenge for Kraft Plus using paint swatches. I printed this large photo, how fun is it ! It certainly helped me get out of my comfort zone but that is exactly what makes it interesting. If you want inspiration go check it out, some amazing layouts.

Close up of the cluster using burlap, cork and beach sand.

Thanks for checking in and have fun creating.
