Grateful

Hello everyone! Don't you just love it how your scrapping mojo happens when you have a new range to create with. I am here to share my second layout using the Teresa Collins range Urban Market. I love the way I could use naturals here in the different tones and how different the three layouts I have completed so far are. There are plans for a few more layouts using this range.

The Urban market sequins pack is gorgeous and very generous! The large size of the sequins worked perfectly as a feature banner along with the decorative stickers. I used some natural burlap fabric under the chipboard, cotton lawn lace and crochet doily to add texture. Here is a close up of the banner.
Have a lovely creative day and good luck to all those who have entered the challenges for June.

Shine Bright - for Scrapping Clearly

Hi Michelle here for the awesome June moodboard sketch for Scrapping Clearly. Let me tell you I loved this moodboard and couldn't wait to create using this as my inspiration. The only thing is with these beautiful colours and design my mind goes all over the place thinking of all the ideas I could do.

I had to tell myself to focus and go with my first idea which was using white embossing powder with my older favourite doily stamps from My Mind's Eye. When I added the Dylusions inks from Ranger. I was really happy with the results with the resist.

This paper range from Pink Paislee was perfect for this month's challenge. I love these cards and are also would be great for Project Life.

Oh Happy Day

Heidi Swapp we love you!! It was such a pleasure to meet Heidi in person and to hear her love of memory keeping, being a mother and sharing with others the importance of keeping records. Her speech was inspirational and something I needed to hear. There were tears from me and many others. I was definately meant to be there. I have no doubt this scrapbooking journey is one I need to be on.

This was always going to be created with only Heidi products because it was a great way to use my new goodies. However I just had to add the resin bird and rose ( not Heidi's ) that I spray painted gold from my stash.
It certainly was a happy day for me as I was with my friends enjoying what I love..creating!!!

Game On

Hi there, here another layout I created a while ago but finally got to photograph it. It's using one of the Awesome papers called Fly Away  by Nowa Kolekcja for 13 @rts. What a great base background for a mixed media layout.

I used a small triangle stencil from Kasiercraft with texture paste. This isn't my usual colour palette but I was happy with the result and I especially like how the brown added depth to the red.
Round stickers are from an older Kasiercraft range called Timeless type.
Have a great day doing what you love.

Love

Hi there !! I have been creating but not sharing so here goes....I really have enjoyed going into my older stash and working with ranges that I love but just hadn't found the right photos till now. Some papers are just so pretty that I find it hard to work with! This mixed media piece was fun to play with Gelatos using the ocean waves stencil from crafters workshop. Base papers from Prima Inc from the Sunrise- Sunset collection by Finabair. I made layers by cutting strips from the different pattern papers and layered them under the photos.

Seashells chipboard from Dusty Attic

Stamped images in black and rub ons
Flower with charms by Prima Inc

My plan is to share more regularly my scrapbooking layouts so I hope that you can stop by and see what else I have been creating. Whatever you are creating enjoy the process! xx

Life Zesters April Challenge

Hello how are you all?  I am feeling blessed I live in a beautiful part of the world where dolphins are wild and free. What better way to make a statement in my PL album with a large 12 x 12 Instagram photo. I was so lucky to see a mother and her calf in a pod of dolphins and they swam right up to the boat much to the delight of everyone. Here is my take on the April Life Zesters sketch challenge.http://lifeszesters.blogspot.com.au/ My cluster is in the top left hand corner.

I used strips of yellow stripe Studio Calico paper as a border and some of Heidi Swapp chipboard.

My project life cards are from the mini kit Plus One Edition by Amy Tangerine. I really love the watercolours on these cards and the contrast with the black and grey. The black foam heart is from Amy Tangerine thickers called Today.

The black die cut in the cluster is from an older kit from D-lish Scraps with Heidi Swapp chipboard foil kit.

I love that these challenges are getting me to try something new to include in my project album.

Grey airmail washi and yellow chevron washi tape help add colour to the photos.
I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge and please check out the other design teams pages. http://lifeszesters.blogspot.com.au/Thank you for taking time to check out this post. Enjoy your day.
