Hello everyone, Michelle back this week to share a layout using the wonderful WANDERlust by Teresa Collins. Do you ever have those moments when you get new products and you just can't wait to use them and you know exactly how you want to create with them?

It doesn't happen that often for me but I had the perfect photo my 16 year old son took in our City and I knew it would be brilliant with those large Wood pieces. I spray painted them with my favourite gold spray paint and love how they look. I used a panel of pattern paper called Paper Tiles and the large gold foil Wanderlust word on the right side was on the bottom of the packaging from the chipboard. 

 Here is a close up of the wood piece Cityscape I spray painted gold, the chipboard with some gold thread and one of the Brads with added Gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine mist.

October Mood board

Hello there, nice to be here this morning sharing my layout inspired by the October Mood board. I have really enjoyed working with the pink and orange colours. 

I loved the circle element and the pattern reminded me of my new Prima Marketing Stencil I wanted to try, bonus! I used a lot of different products from different companies I had in my possession which worked out well. Doesn't it feel great when it all works together?

Here is the gorgeous vibrant October Mood board using the lovely combination of pink, red and orange. We would love to see your interpretation from this month's challenge and a $20 voucher is well worth creating for the change to win! Happy creating and good luck!!

Create a beautiful life

Hi everyone, Michelle here to share my take on the October Sketch Challenge. I love a new challenge to keep me focused and creating. I have the privilege this month to be scrapbooking with the Gorgeous WANDERlust range from Teresa Collins. Of course it has a good dose of Gold and I love how it's teamed with black and white so any colour photo will go with it.

I love taking food shots but don't always use them on their own on a 12 x 12 layout but like I said the classic colours of this range will go with a lot of different photo subjects I feel. This sketch worked perfectly with the focus on the one photo.

I cut the Hello World tag to a flag shape and machine stitched with black cotton around it and the outer edge of the white cardstock. The black and white stripe paper mat behind the photo is called Paper Tiles from the collection. 

My gold title Create a beautiful life was cut from the packaging from the top of  the wood veneer packet. I didn't want to miss any of the gold words.

September Mood board

September Mood board

Hello everyone, it's Michelle this is my layout inspired by September's mood board. I really think mood boards are great, they are more open to personal interpretation which makes them very inspiring. I can't wait to see what everyone creates, especially since there is a $20 voucher up for grabs!

If you know me you'll know I have always been near the beach and love to spend lots of hours there with my family. So the colours really inspired me in this challenge as it has a summer nautical theme and I wanted to keep it beachy.

This year is moving along so fast and it will be summer again before we know it!

 My title is a wood veneer from Teresa Collins Something Wonderful collection.

 A close up of the white embossed stamped flowers background with Heidi Swapp Navy Color Shine. I used a paint brush and water to help spread the Color Shine like a water colour.

I used a combination of white embossed stamped flowers on the background, stamped black ink flowers on sticky backed canvas to add layers to the photo and a metal flower charm. Twine and muslin was added under the photo layer to add texture and mimic the rope in the mood board.

Hi there I can't believe it's a new month already!! Michelle here to share my take on the fabulous multi photo sketch we have as our challenge for September. The prize is a very generous $20 to spend in Scrapping Clearly Store!! So come on and give it a go, We can't wait to see what you create.

 I sometimes find on my phone a whole range of ''selfie'' pics my 8 year old decides to take. I am sure I am not the only one this happens to and I just have to laugh at some of the faces she pulls. Where do they learn this stuff from? Here is her most recent photo session and I thought it was perfect to add here as a series of photos. There is so much to love about the whole Something Wonderful collection by Teresa Collins found here in the store. So many lovely embellishments and a generous amount in each pack. The Wonderful title is from the wood pieces pack I painted black with Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

 Here is a close up of the banners I was able to build out of the chipboard and sticker sheet. The Ephemera tags have 20 different ones in the pack.

Accordion album

Accordion Album

Good morning everyone, Michelle here, I am here to share what I created using the Something Wonderful collection by Teresa Collins found here in the Scrapping Clearly Store.

It's a accordion album made from three strips of pattern paper, tags and some of the ephemera cards. I attached the three strips together to make one long strip and scored lines to make the folds a little bit wider than the tags so that they can bend when it's folded. 

After deciding what tags and cards go together I glued them down and the photos on top. The fun part was the embellishing with all the many great word stickers, chipboard pieces and enamel dots. You get plenty in the packs to use.

I added some journaling under some photos and at the end of the book on a lined memo tag. A simple afternoon at the park now documented in it's own little album to look back and remember the day.

Marquee Love

Marquee Love

Morning everyone, Michelle here, I have a beautiful Marquee Love Ampersand light in my creative
area that adds to the ambiance of my room. How good are these totally customised letters from
Heidi Swapp. 

I have often admired these cool letters in trendy store fronts and classy parties but thought I couldn't
create that look for my room. Now I can have exactly what colours I want and it can be changed at 
anytime I like with total freedom. This may not stop at one I have plans to add more and use them in 
other rooms in my house, because why not!

                                                      

They are so easy to put together with the well thought out diagram and instructions included in the box.

The options are endless and there are so many lovely washi tapes, glitters and paper pads in the 

Scrapping Clearly store to create with. Please take a look they are gorgeous and can also be

used for other projects. 

I spray painted the entire ampersand with my favourite Gold paint and it took really well. I then added the gold

glitter tape around the outside edges in one long strip starting underneath. With the tight inside corners I used

a wooden skewer to smooth the tape into the corners that were hard to reach with your fingers.

The photos didn't do the glitter tape justice because it looks so pretty and sparkly in real life. I am so happy
with how it turned out and how easy it was to make it my own. It looks classy and elegant with not much effort.
